When it comes to great seafood dining, Seafood Cove in Garden Grove, CA stands out as a top choice for locals and visitors alike. Located at 8547 Westminster Blvd., this charming spot serves up a variety of fresh and flavorful seafood dishes that will surely satisfy your cravings. Whether you're in the mood for a classic lobster roll, grilled shrimp, or something more adventurous like crab legs, this place has it all.

The restaurant's menu is extensive, with something to please every palate. If you love a good seafood boil, you can customize your order with a selection of seafood, spices, and sides. The garlic butter shrimp is a favorite for many, with its perfect balance of flavors that leaves your taste buds begging for more. For those who prefer a lighter option, the seafood salad, packed with a variety of fresh ingredients, is an excellent choice. Each dish is prepared with care and served with generous portions, making it a great value for your money.

What sets Seafood Cove apart from other seafood restaurants in the area is its commitment to quality. The fish is always fresh, and the preparation methods preserve the delicate flavors of the seafood. During a recent visit, I had the pleasure of trying their signature clam chowder, which was creamy and hearty, filled with tender clams and a perfect blend of seasonings. It’s clear that they take pride in sourcing the best ingredients and preparing them with skill.

Another aspect that makes Seafood Cove a standout in the competitive Garden Grove dining scene is its inviting atmosphere. The casual yet modern decor creates a laid-back vibe that makes it a great spot for a meal with friends, a family dinner, or even a date night. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to offer recommendations or answer questions about the menu. The service is quick, yet the staff never rushes you, making it a relaxed dining experience from start to finish.

Reviews from other diners echo the same sentiment about the food quality and atmosphere. Many mention how much they appreciate the restaurant’s cozy ambiance, and the majority rave about the variety on the menu. There’s also something to be said about the local community’s loyalty to this restaurant. Regulars often highlight the consistent freshness of the seafood, with many coming back for the same beloved dishes. And of course, the prices are reasonable considering the portion sizes and quality.

For those looking for something a little different, Seafood Cove offers a selection of fried dishes, perfect for those who enjoy their seafood crispy and golden. The fish and chips are a classic choice, served with a side of tangy tartar sauce. The fried calamari is another popular dish, offering a crunchy, satisfying bite with every piece.

The restaurant also caters to a variety of dietary preferences. They offer gluten-free options, as well as vegetarian sides that complement any seafood dish perfectly. Whether you’re dining with family or friends, everyone can find something on the menu that meets their tastes.

Everything here was great when I went with my family. This is a popular place to eat Asian food. Dinner time on the weekend has a lot more people then normal. In the end I have been here many times and everytime it is great. I do like it that the workers that bring the food knows three languages.

This place is an institution in Westminster. My family have been dining here for more than 30 years, and their food has still been consistently good. They're know for their house lobster, but prepare to dig deep in your pockets as this dish will set you back at least $200. Pair that up with some Pecking Duck, house Special squid, some delicious crab soup, shrimp dishes, and Frech style fillet mignon, and you'll have $500 well spent.

After a long day on the ship, I had a wonderful meal at Seafood Cove. The food was amazing and truly authentic Chinese-Cambodian cuisine. The flavors were rich, and the dishes reminded me of home. The seafood was fresh, well-cooked, and very satisfying. The portions were generous, and the overall experience was relaxing and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Chinese-Cambodian food.

Food is very tasty and is consistent every visit. However, restaurant atmosphere is dated and needs a remodel. Service needs much improvement. It feels like they don't care about the customer at all.

Love this place, I've been coming here for over 30 years, food is consistently delicious. I especially love their lunch specials (comes with rice, soup and dessert). My to go items are kung pao chicken, house special squid, stir fried clams with basil, salt pepper shrimp, deep fried sole. Recently I tried their peiking duck, it was pretty decent for the price, only $42 for the whole duck with the buns. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.
